Shelley was stuck at the South LA Shelter. She was taken in because she had been found wondering all by herself. It's always puzzling to us how anyone could not miss their little baby who's gone astray. Despite what looks to be a history of flea allergies, Shelley is a beautiful little girl. She even has the cutest little fang tooth that she shows off every once in a while! She absolutely LOVES her walks; taking in all the sunshine she can. She's friendly and social to her canine, and human, friends alike. Shelley will do just about anything to be the first to sit in your lap where she can receive all the love and snuggles her little heart desires. Shelley is one of those Pugs who has a face and personality you just immediately fall for. We hope she won't have to wait much longer to find her forever home.
Poor Minnie. She was relinquished to the Pasadena Shelter by her owner. We assume it has to do with her age and the fact that she's blind. This little girl was a mess when she first came to us; she was in desperate need of a good brushing and her eyes were covered with so much crust, it's a wonder she was able to close them! Although blind, she can definitely still hear. She is a happy, spunky girl with lots of life left in her. Because she came from a shelter, we do have her separated to monitor for any signs of kennel cough. Once given the ok by our vet, we'll introduce her to the others to see how she gets along.
