This unbelievably adorable face belongs to Rollo. Impounded at the shelter, Rollo got wind of our organization and used his one allotted call to ask if we’d come down and spring him. One look at his mug shot and we were there in a heartbeat; already in love with that face. On the ride over, he let us know that he has some physical ailments: cataracts (causing some sight impairment), some hearing impairment and a heart murmur. We didn’t care. As far as we’re concerned, he’s perfect! Although shy when he first arrived, it didn’t take him long to come out of his shell; or map out his new digs. He even met a couple of ladies who he’s become quite fond of; oftentimes sharing the comfiest bed in the suite for an afternoon snuggle. And it’s not just his canine pals he likes socializing with; he’s beginning to really enjoy being around humans, too. Still not 100% sure of how to courageously ask for affection, he’s getting there. We don’t think he’d be one for long, romantic walks on the beach, but he does appreciate time outdoors for a breath of fresh air. Despite being in his golden years, Rollo still has plenty of life and love to give. We hope you’ll consider our beloved friend as your next forever companion.
