Miss Peachy was not feeling very peachy in her old home. She was being territorial and reactive towards people other than the immediate family entering the home, so her family made the difficult decision to relinquish her to our care. She's been bounced around quite a bit throughout her life which could be why she has those issues. We are hopeful she'll be able to work out those quirks with a dedicated owner and some good ol' fashioned training. She craves stability and just wants to feel safe. Since she's been with us, Peachy has been friendly toward the staff and loves interacting with the other dogs here. She's typically found curled up next another senior pug or two partaking in an afternoon siesta. Peachy seems to be pretty unsure of the world around her — she can be nervous around new people but is fiercely loyal to the ones she knows. She would be best suited for a home with no small children and owners who are able to take it slow and give her the space to trust and feel comfortable receiving their love. Peachy is a special girl who deserves a special place to call home. Could it be with you? Please apply today!
