Poor Gretchen. It's now her second time with us. Originally, she was found roaming the streets alone before making her way to us. This time, she was relinquished by her owner because of unforeseen life circumstances. Gretchen is truly one of a kind. She naturally exudes lots of character and class; and doesn't mind showing off her unusually long, slender legs. Gretchen is a curious girl; always sniffing around, investigating her surroundings. She loves people and will let you know when she thinks she's not getting enough attention. However, she appreciates having her boundaries respected when it comes to her canine friends. She's friendly with them, but wants her space when she needs it. Despite being a "senior", she enjoys a good walk. She also loves to tip-toe around, seeing what the humans are up to. "Gretchie" has a heart-snatching head tilt that we believe is due to past chronic ear infections. She is a wonderful lady; full of life and love to give. Her unique personality (and physical traits) make her an endlessly fun companion who would bring loads of joy to your home!
