12 year 10 month old female / Available at the Station
We simply can't believe this amazing girl is still here! Agnes was relinquished to us because she didn't get along with the other dog in her old home. She is our longest resident, and has been at the rescue for over a year already. This beauty queen is blind, diabetic, slightly hearing impaired and a couple of pounds overweight. Despite her ailments, Agnes is about as strong and confident as they come. Although she still bumps into things here and there, she pretty much mapped out her new digs in a matter of a few days. She needs insulin injections twice a day to help manage her Diabetes, and we will show you how! Agnes is full of life and isn't afraid of anything. We've found that she does not get along with other dogs. She can't see, so tiffs have broken out because she runs into them....and she's not one to back down. She will need to be the only dog in her forever home. Once she has "claimed" her human, she's extremely loyal and prefers not to share the attention. She adores endless belly rubs and gives lots of kisses. Agnes does come with a list of health issues, but she is definitely worth the extra effort to care for her. Please consider this sassy senior as your next forever friend.
