Nadja

7 Month old Female / Available at the Station

For a couple weeks we kept hearing stories of an elusive wolfdog running around the streets near our facility. She’d be spotted one day and then not be seen again for several, but our staff knew they had to try to find her and get her off the streets for good. Well, low and behold, the mythical creature turned out to be the wonderful and adorable NADJA! This baby is a mix between German Shepard and Rottweiler, and although she certainly is not a pug, she does deserve a better life and a family who will love her as much as her them. She was wise to be loose next to a rescue filled with dog-obsessed people, that’s for sure! 😉 Nadja is 7 months old, and at 43 pounds she already towers over even the tallest pug-mix we have in our care. She’s not done growing yet either as she surely has potential to get close to the 100-pound mark. She is so sweet and loves absolutely loves the other dogs here. She’d love to go to a home with another active dog for her to play with all day. She’s very intelligent and we believe she’ll be very trainable too. Nadja doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, and we would love for her future adopter to be someone who’s dedicated to continuing her training and socialization and will give this big active girl a lifetime of exercise and enrichment.
