**When you are filling out the application, please take care to fill in each required field or the application will not go through. If it does not give you a confirmation, scroll down and see what information may be missing. Also, when uploading your driver’s license picture, please make sure the format matches our accepted file types. Most times, applicants have better success on a computer than their phones; it takes a bit of patience to fill out the form in its entirety so please take your time and fill out all fields for better success**
We have a moral, ethical and legal obligation to ensure that the new relationship between your family and your new companion will thrive for a lifetime. Not just in any home, but in the right home for both the dog and each potential adopter. Sometimes that means having to say no. The Shelter reserves the right to decline any adoption application at any time and for any reason.

Out of Town Adoptions: We are happy to adopt to out of area families in the US and throughout Canada. Adopters may choose to pick up their new family member in person and either drive home or fly with the dog in cabin. We also offer another option through our exclusive, trusted transport partner, Pumba’s Paws Pet Transport.
