Ravioli *Special Needs*

4 Year old Male / Available at the Rescue

Meet Ravioli, a truly special and loving boy who’s searching for his forever home. Ravioli was found as a stray, a surprising fate given his limited mobility. It’s likely he was dumped after losing the use of his hind legs. He is likely suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a condition that’s relatively common in French Bulldogs, which has significantly affected his hind legs.

Due to his condition, Ravioli’s ability to walk is quite limited. He can occasionally stand and take a few steps but often needs help to get around. He has a wheelchair that helps him, but he is also comfortable scooting, using his front legs to propel him forward. Ravioli also requires his bladder and bowels to be expressed several times a day to prevent infections, as he is unable to potty on his own. Our dedicated staff is more than happy to teach you how to care for him in this way if you’re considering making him a part of your family.

Ravioli is a sweetheart through and through. His gentle and friendly nature shines through, and he adores human attention. Despite his mobility challenges, he has a warm and loving demeanor that endears him to everyone he meets. Ravioli also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. He’s a big fan of cuddles and treats, making him a great companion. At approximately 21 pounds, Ravioli is sturdy but not overweight. He’s a little “porker” in the best way possible, adding to his irresistible charm.

Ravioli is looking for a home with someone who has experience with special needs dogs or who is willing to learn. Due to his ongoing care needs, including regular bladder and bowel expression, he would do best with someone who isn’t gone for long periods. He may require more care than an average dog, but the love and joy he brings into your life will make it all worthwhile. Ravioli is waiting for a patient and loving person to give him the home he deserves. Could you be the one to make his tail wag with happiness? Please inquire today!
