our mission

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced and abused Pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless Pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted Pugs to live out their lives.

Our organization is new, but many of us have been rescuing Pugs for over 10 years. We are passionate and live by our motto of "One Pug at a Time" we feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug's lives. We have a Board of Seven Members who are diverse and talented; most of us have full time jobs but are happy to put in the effort for such a great cause. We are passionate about our Pugs! We are excited to put together this new organization so that we can provide Pug Rescue in the Southern California area; right now there is no other local group rescuing Pugs. We are grateful to other Pug Rescues that have filled the void to this point and look forward to coordinating with them all.

We hold at least 2 adoption fairs per month as well as hold larger fundraising events twice per year. Please check this site often to see when our next adoption or event is being held, or keep an eye on our Adoptions page. Thank you for your interest in Pug Nation. Please look for us on Facebook and Twitter in the near future.
